<Benefits
of Travelling>

Some people say that travelling is just
wasting of time and money. They argue we do not have to go on trips actually
because we can explore the whole world by searching the Internet or reading
books. Needless to say, it costs much less experiencing indirectly, however, I
think that travelling is essential to make our lives more valuable and
colorful.
Roughly thinking about trip, there are two
types of it: going on a trip together or alone. Both have different strong points so I think I
have to explain by dividing into two.
First, travelling together is one of the good
ways to spend
time and make precious memories with people you like. Before you make
a journey, you should decide where and when to go to the travel destinations by
discussing with them. Then you can have a good time with them in beautiful
places successfully. In some case, you might face
unexpected situations with them and have to find solution together. In this
way, even the unexpected things occur, you can make the precious memories and
also you can have relationship between them closer.
Second, going on a trip alone makes you
independent. Knowing yourself is very important to set aim for rest of your
life. While travelling, you can look inside of yourself calmly. Of course you
can do meditation in the room, but being alone in unfamiliar places can
also help you
concentrate on yourself entirely. Before you leave, you have to organize for
your trip by yourself and this is highly related to setting your future plans.
You have to know where to go and when you will do the things during the trip,
and this resembles what happens in your life. Since you live in society, of
course, there are much more problems that have to be solved together. However,
there also exist problems that have to be dealt with by oneself. Travelling
alone gives you power to overcome them and eventually you can be independent.
I have traveled in the both way before. I
have been to San Diego in California with my friends here in UCR and
it was a fascinating memory. Also, I have been to Jeon-ju in South Korea alone
after taking my TOEIC test, and it was a good chance to refresh. Both trips are really
unforgettable memories in my life and not only them but other
travelling experiences still give me power to live happily.
